Course Description:
The online course is designed to enable you to understand serious hazards in “special” work circumstances. The application of this procedure is intended to cover: work which contains risk of fire or explosion, work which may pose a threat, or work which poses the threat of injury/damage/loss to Company personnel, product, or property. This course covers the procedures required to be followed to issue the hot work permit and details out the responsibilities for the manager, supervisor and the worker involved. This course is a PDF flash course that includes an online quiz.
The course covers the topics such as;
- requesting the hot work permit,
- issuance of the hot work permit,
- change of shift,
- completion of hot work permit, and
- responsibilities of Supervisor and Managers

Testing:
Quizzes - All quizzes must be passed with a 70% to proceed forward to the
next lesson.
Final Exam- Final Exam must be passed with a 70% to pass the course.
The final exam can be taken three times if necessary.
